The Zorua and the Memory Potion Empty The Zorua and the Memory Potion

Post by Cedahlia Thu Nov 17, 2016 8:51 pm

Do you know what happens when a memory potion drops and bursts at your feet? An iridescent cloud explodes up into your face. It smells like something familiar that you just can’t place, like the scent of your childhood home or the perfume of a long lost relative. That scent lingers in your nose and tickles at your mind. You wonder where you’ve smelled it before as your memories begin the fade. It’s the small, unimportant ones you lose first. Then the ones you can recall if something triggers them. Next comes the ones that come up every now and then. And after that, well, now the ones that make you who you are…they go too. They all just fade away with the scent of that potion.

For a human this can be entirely confusing. But for a fiend pretending to be a human, that just makes it worse. It happened to the potion’s latest victim. One moment she’s trying to keep a shelf from falling over because of her clumsy sister and the next she’s standing next to people she doesn’t recognize in a place she can’t recall traveling too. Her blue eyes widen and instinct kicks in. That’s what happens, when knowledge is gone, you just react on instinct. Her instinct? Run the fuck away.

She bolted, following her nose and the scent of freshly rained upon earth to find her way out of the dusty building. She could hear them following her, calling after her as they gave chase. She ran faster, ditching the shoes that weighed down her feet. She emerged into the sunlight and was temporarily blinded. She continued to run though she could not see where she was going. Blue sky above her with a few clouds. Green grass slick from the rain. Barefoot, she slipped on the grass and careened into the bushes, startling a group of birds. They immediately took flight into the air. She watched them, taking in their appearance. And then she changed. She shed the unnatural form of a human body and took on the appearance of the birds she had accidentally startled. She joined them in the air and though they knew she was not part of her flock, she was no predator either, and was allowed to fly with them as they rose above the trees. By the time the shadows of her pursuers darkened the doorway, she was in the sky and high above them. She glanced below at them for only a moment and then let the wind take her away with the others.

Flying was like a dream. So high above the ground it amused her to see the patterns in the earth. This was the point where most people would start panicking about other things like who they were and what was going on. But not her. With her mind empty, she was taking everything in, soaking it up like a dry sponge dropped into soapy water. She trilled with the other birds and followed their lead through the sky until the patterns of the earth changed, the colors becoming brighter and more beautiful to look upon. Something above startled the birds but she paid it no mind, descending rapidly down below to see the pretty colors of the earth up close. As she neared the ground she returned to her true form, a small fox cub with black fur and purplish markings. She tumbled onto the ground and quickly got to her feet, her little paws sinking ever so slightly into the fertile dirt.

Flowers. She was surrounded by flowers. They were nearly as tall as she was and their scent was everywhere. She could see other birds and even bugs in the field around her but she couldn’t smell them. Everything smelled like the flowers. She ran through them, letting their scent rub off on her as well. It would help disguise her from predators but more than that she just found it to be fun. Some of the flowers moved, danced, and even sang. She watched them for a moment wishing to join in their dance but abandoned the notion to continue running and frolicking through the field. One particular flower with red petals and a blue center smacked her in the face and disrupted her joyous frolic. She retaliated immediately, yipping at it and then biting the flower clean of its stalk and chewing it spitefully. Halfway through devouring the thing she stopped, made a face of disgust and spat the flower out. It smelled beautiful. It looked even prettier. It tasted…not as nice as it looked or smelled. She rubbed her paw against her tongue to get the last of the petals out, backing away from the site of the partially chewed petals on the ground. She turned away, no longer facing it, and kicked dirt back with her hind legs to bury the offending thing.

That done she took off again only to come to a stop as something incredibly large landed in the flower field. Birds, bugs, and animals alike took off away from it. She did not run with them. She did not flee. Instead she crouched low and peeked as best as she could through the flowers to see what it was. It was too tall. She couldn’t make it out from the angle she was out. All she could see were shiny scales glinting in the sunlight.

Oh no.

She should have run. But it was too late now. Her dark appearance would not blend in well with the flowers. So she changed again, taking on the look of the flowers that sang and danced. Ah, but that felt strange. The sunlight was even more invigorating, beckoning her to play. She ignored it, instead perfectly mimicking the flowers she had watched before until the scaly creature had passed. It did not see her for she blended in so well with the other flowers. It did not smell her for she was covered with their scent. And when it had gone far enough away she changed once more and darted off and away from it.

There was a river. She could hear it and smell it before it appeared before it. Bursting out from the flowers with petals scattered around her, she paused as she looked around. The river was not on her level, instead a few feet down. She ran forward and paused above it. The water was moving too fast for her to jump into. With as small as she was she’d never be able to fight the current and would be taken away quickly. Would that be bad though, she wondered? She didn’t know where the current even lead. She didn’t know where she was now. A part of her was aware that she should care but instinct was still running the show. She’d gone from flight to play and now she was back to flight. The creature with the shiny scales had given off an energy she did not like. Not at all.

A fallen tree log floated on the surface of the river. She watched it coming and thought that it would make a good makeshift craft to explore the river on. It was not very long but it was fairly wide. She was a tiny thing. It would be just big enough for her. With just the right timing, she ran back towards the flowers and then turned around and sped across the ground, soaring through the air and landing almost perfectly on the long. Her tail splashed into the water but otherwise her landing had been successfully. It was only her tail that had gotten wet. She lifted it up out of the way of the water and shook it, watching the droplets land back on the river and disappear. There were no ripples. The water was not calm enough to see them.

Had the scaly creature noticed her escape from the flowers? She did not think so. It had gone in the other direction and she’d made only a little splash, a sound easily covered by the noise from the river itself if it had been far enough away at the time. Unless it had amazing hearing... She thought about that for a moment, considering if she should be worried. Had the creature had ears? She had no idea. Oh well. She settled down on her little makeshift raft, her tail far from the rest of her body until the sun dried it off. She would not like to have her fur wet.

She floated on the river like that for some time, her head bobbing up and down as she looked from one thing to another. The scenery was very pretty. So many trees and the sky was still a lovely blue. Sometimes the clouds made shapes. But soon there were not enough of them left to be interesting. She turned her attention back to the water. Perhaps there would be fish.

Oh fish! She suddenly felt hungry. She was moving along the river to fast to entertain the idea of catching something easily. Her stomach grumbled, vibrating her tiny body. She flopped down on the log, feeling lazy and sleepy as well despite the sudden hunger pains. She could nap. When she woke there might be food around… But if she napped then she might miss the food. Oh the decisions.

She napped. She woke when the log got caught up in shallow water, coming to a halt from the sand it had caught on. She flew off the log only a little bit forward but it was enough to soak her fur. Startled, she made a sound of surprise and ran through the water and back onto the shore. Running in was water was difficult. She made lots of splashing noises. She also tripped on a fish who had panicked at the sudden splashing and swam right into her legs rather than away in its confusion. She went face first into the water, spluttered about in anger and then righted herself. Her mood switched immediately to anger and she hunted the fish down, running after it in the water until she caught it. She pressed down with her little paws on its slippery body and then bit into its flesh. The fish was tossed from side to side. She let go only when it stopped moving and soon ate it. Only after did it occur to her that it might have been another fish that had tripped her. There were a lot of them about. Oh well. It had been delicious. She didn’t feel sorry.

Her second attempt to reach the river bank and dry land went smoothly. She found trees with roots that were above the ground and quite large. There was a nest hidden among the roots in one of them. It looked and smelled like it hadn’t been used in some time. She stole it, claiming it as hers for the moment, and started to rest after her meal. She didn’t wish to travel with wet fur. She’d wait until she was dry and then continue on.

Where was she going again? She didn’t know. There was a vague idea in her mind that she ought to return home before the sun set. She couldn’t remember where home was. Did she have one? Maybe not. Why sunset? The dark did not scare her any more than the light did. In fact, the dark of the night would make it much easier to hide.

Thinking was hard, she decided. She took another nap instead of continuing with that. The nest smelled musty but she could ignore that. Just enough sunlight was able to come in through the gaps in the leaves above to warm her fur and speed up the process of drying it. The sound of the river so close by was constant and enough to lull her to sleep.

This time when she woke it wasn’t because of anything at all. She felt rested. It wasn’t dark out yet, sadly. She was a little disappointed to look up and still see a bright sky with no stars. But the sky was changing colors. That meant that the dark would be coming soon. She felt excited. Playing in the dark would be fun. If she could find something to play with…

Time to explore again. She left her stolen nest behind and went further into the forest. The trees started to change again and things got a little rockier. She didn’t like the way the rocks felt on her soft paw pads. Clearly she was not used to this much travel in a day. Her little feet were sore. She stopped to give them a nice cleaning and then continued on. The scenery, while pretty, was rather boring. Unlike with her journey on the river, she couldn’t just lounge and watch it go by. She had to actually walk through it. But there was nothing around to inspire her to feel anything.

She gave up looking around and just moved forward, randomly changing direction on a whim. The scaly creature could still be looking for her. Well, if it had even been in that field because of her. It might have lived there. She didn’t know. She decided it likely wasn’t concerned about her. And the people she’d seen before? People were slow. She didn’t feel threatened by them. She was too far away now for them to find her. She hadn’t left much of a trail for them to follow in the first place.

Of course there were other people to worry about. She didn’t consider that until she sprung a trap on the ground. A net suddenly sprung up at her feet and lifted her high into the air. Stunned, she was unable to move at first. The net swung high up in the air, suspended from one of the tree branches. She swallowed hard, breathing quickly out of rising fear. But moments passed and no one came to check the sprung trap. She realized she might be stuck until the next morning. Oh no. That wouldn’t do. She didn’t like being up so high when it wasn’t of her own choosing.

The trap had not been set for her. The holes in the net were too big to properly catch something as small as her. She kept slipping partially through them, kicking her legs about to try and gain stable ground in the thing. It wasn’t going to work. So she maneuvered her fluffy body through one of the holes and fell all the way down. The ground was not soft. Air escaped her lungs as she hit the ground. Winded, she lay there until she was able to breathe again. Now she could hear footsteps. Maybe the person who had set the trap was close by after all. Maybe it was someone else. Either way she decided that she didn’t want to meet them. Mean trap setter people things. She bolted back towards the cover of the trees only to discover that she was injured. One of her four legs gave every time she put weight on it. She whined pathetically.

Oh yeah, that was going to help. Not. She resorted to dragging herself across the ground. Rocks and dirt got caught in her fur. It was uncomfortable. She didn’t like it at all. But she kept at it. She was so close to the cover. She could reach it with an outstretched paw. But large hands scooped her up. Along with panic, adrenaline kicked in. She twisted and squirmed in the human hands that surrounded her body. They held her firmly despite her attempts to wiggle free. Why were they so large? They were starting to annoy with their persistence of keeping her captive. She bit one of them, sinking her teeth as deeply into the skin as she could manage in such a hurry to be free. The taste of iron filled her mouth. She choked on it, spitting it out. She had startled the human with her bite but it had been shallow. Now the hand tried to cover her mouth so she couldn’t bite again. Well, fuck that. She bit one of the fingers, this time landing her teeth in a delicate spot. She could hear the human cuss as she was dropped.

Oh that injury? Yeah, she couldn’t feel it at all now as she took off running as fast as she could into the surrounding brush. Adrenaline was nice like that. She’d feel it later when she came to a stop, which she had to as it started to fade. Hidden in the brush, she listened as the human stumbled about in an attempt to find her. She eased herself into one of the bushes with the long thorns. She was small enough to get in close to the center. There were no thorns there. If the human even tried to reach her they’d draw more blood then she was (hopefully) worth.

Feeling as safe as she could in that moment, she took the time to clean her wounded leg. She thought it might only be sprained rather than broken. She could live with that. It pulsed in anger as she started to become more aware of it again. Her tail moved over it, covering the injured leg. She’d just pretend like it was fine. Well, after she nuzzled it into the proper hiding position, making her small body appear even smaller. Her coloring would hide her well in the brush too. She rested her head on her tail and waited for the human to leave. Once her leg stopped hurting she would be on the move again. That could take ages. But she was patient. She would wait.

The Zorua and the Memory Potion Empty Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion

Post by Cedahlia Thu Nov 17, 2016 8:58 pm

The twins had been sat on a rock nearby the girls, watching them play and be silly. It was a really rather lovely day, something that he hoped he would never forget. Because it wasn't often that Mandisa was this calm, or relaxed. He enjoyed seeing a softer side of her.

{Stop being a sap,} Taeyang whispered in his mind, making Jiyong laugh softly and shake his head. {Honestly, you'll be off guard if you get lost in the moment. We can't afford to--}

"I know." Jiyong said, using his mouth to talk to Taeyang, meaning he'd been upset by his brother. He would put his life on the line for both of the girls and his twin should know that.

"I do," Taeyang said, but Jiyong shoved him away a bit.

"Get out of me head."

"Only when you're being naughty with the darker sister."

"Shut up." Jiyong said and stood, just as he saw the potion fly threw the air in the direction of his girls.

Taeyang's reaction was immediate, he knocked Mireya out of the way, tumbling across the rock and stones with her.

But Jiyong went for the guy who had thrown the potion, his hands around his neck as they literally flew and collided with a nearby outcrop of rocks. The thud was so loud, bones snapped in the aggressors body and the crunch gave Jiyong a sick sense of glee.

"Um, brother..." Taeyang said, he'd put Mireya somewhere safe and was currently draped on by some girl who spent too much time on the beach and not enough on her cheap bikini. "Your girl ran away."

Jiyong dropped the man who had attacked them, letting him fall to his feet like a rag doll. "Why didn't you stop her?" He asked his tone frustrated.

Taeyang shrugged but looked down at the girl. "I dunno. You know. Reasons." He said innocently, his fingers trailing down her cleavage.

"Whatever." Jiyong said and he took off after Mandisa. {Watch the Princess, if anything happens to her then it's on your head, not mine.} he said, following Mandi's scent.

{Aye, aye Sir!} Taeyang's cheerful response came and Jiyong merely growled back at him. He was fast enough to keep on Mandi, but not quite catch up. He was worried, if that potion hit her she would forget everything. He'd immediately identified it by smell. It had tickled his nose and made him want to sneeze.

She would be so frightened... His poor lover. He would have killed the guy had it not been for Taeyang. Which might have looked badly on him, but he didn't care.

{The woman was an accomplice.} Taeyang's voice spoke to him but he wasn't listening. {They're part of the order who had kidnapped Mireya earlier. They're getting braver. But also more stupid. I've sent her home with a warning.}

{Was it an explosive one?} Jiyong replied finally. But that was the only one he would care about.

"Yes, actually." Taeyang said as he caught up. "did you see that field of flowers? She's ransacked and murdered a couple... She should be nearby." He said and slowed down.

"Yes." Jiyong said and stopped. He looked down at her tracks. "I lost her scent because of those fucking flowers."

"Figures. By now she won't know us so she's going to think we are predators." He pointed out and Jiyong shot him a look. He shrugged back, but then out of the corner of his eye, he caught site of her.
He was quick enough to snatch her up. "Got her!" He proclaimed triumphantly. "Ow! Fucking bitch." He said as the tiny ass fiend bit down on his finger and ran off.

"I hate your girlfriend." Taeyang said, but he took off after her anyway.

"I'm aware." Was all Jiyong said, following at a slightly faster pace. Her tracks had stopped just a bit further on. But he wasn't sure where she'd gone.

"I'm a fucking God, how do I lose my girlfriend?"

"You're just that special."

The Zorua and the Memory Potion Empty Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion

Post by Cedahlia Thu Nov 17, 2016 9:00 pm

The zorua was patient enough to wait out the humans searching for her. They seemed pretty determined to find her. She wondered why as her tail flicked over her face to hide her marking, revealing only her blue eyes. She could see them now through the branches of the thorny bush. They were looking around for her. Had she angered them with her bite? Served them right, snatching her up and holding her so tightly. They did not feel like Tamers. Their energy was all wrong. It was scary. They were strong things pretending not to be. It scared her. She kept still as they approached, relying on the thorns and her camouflage to protect her from them.

'Shut up, you're not helping." Jiyong said, he could fix this if they could find her. He knew how. Antidotes were sometimes hard to make, but he could do it with Mireya's help.

"I am. I found her. See?' Taeyang said, but he didn't point or go towards her. He just nodded in her direction. {Ideas?}

{Sleeping potion, I guess.... You can get her out.}

{But thorns...}

{Tough, man up.}

Two humans. The zorua had just connected that there were two of them even though she'd noticed it before. Well, that meant twice the danger. They'd stopped moving. They weren't looking in her direction but they'd also stopped speaking as well. She started to paw at the ground quietly. The dirt was soft. The roots of the brush were thick enough to keep her from digging properly. She started to paw more and then began to dig, careful not to fling the dirt up above the brush leaves so that they'd noticed. The instinct to protect herself and survive was kicking in again. She dug and dug, determined to burrow her way under the brush and emerge away from the two humans that were hunting her.

Jiyong wasn't letting her get away though. He threw a potion at Mandisa. It landed perfectly as he was in fact, perfection as a god. Ha.

Taeyang went to go and get her, but Jiyong put a hand on his chest. "Not yet, wait a moment for it to work properly."

The Zorua and the Memory Potion Empty Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion

Post by Cedahlia Thu Nov 17, 2016 9:02 pm

The zorua was so busy digging that she didn't notice they'd thrown anything in her direction. She thought that as long as the brush was there, she would be safe from them. Safe enough to get her little tunnel going and to hide inside of it. So she wasn't aware that anything was wrong until she heard glass break above her on the thorny branches of the brush. An oozing blue liquid splashed across the brush and rained down onto her dark fur. She bolted out of the little hole she'd managed to create and slipped into more of the stuff. She sneezed as her eyelids grew heavy and her body stopped responding to her mental commands.

Run.

Hide.

She couldn't do any of those things. The smell of the potion made her dizzy and she flopped over, remaining under the thorny brush and out of the way of large hands. Her breathing increased with her panic only to slow down as sleep began to take her. Desperately she tried to think of something to change into that would keep her safe but there was no time. She whined pathetically, kicking her little legs in one last attempt to move herself to further safety. It didn't work. She lost the battle against the foul liquid and fell asleep.

So that was that. "Get on it." Jiyong said as his eyes followed the tree's and general line of sight, making sure nothing was coming at him, his brother or his girl.

"She still won't remember you," Taeyang pointed out as he made his hands into claws and slashed away at the thorns to avoid their prickly scratches.

"I can fix it."

"And what if you can't, brother?"

"Our love is true. Strong and bold. She won't forget me for long."

"And if she does?"

"Then it wasn't."

Taeyang nodded. "So long as you're ready for it." He said and lifted up the tiny fiend into his hands. Before holding it out to Jiyong who immediately took it.

The zorua was out like a light. She lay there limply in his arms. Not the feel of his skin against her fur nor the scent of his body so close to her nose woke her. Her breathing was slow and steady despite the pain in her leg. She was well and truly out. For how long would completely depend on the strength of the potion he had thrown at her.

"Let's go get her to Mireya for healing." Jiyong said as he cradled her so gently. He was mad at his brother for always doubted Mandi, but he knew it was out of good intentions.

"Okay, she's looks so tiny in your arms. Almost helpless. Good job she's not awake to ruin that for me." Taeyang said as he took off.

"Shut up." Jiyong snapped, because he wasn't in the mood. He was always so calm and put together. "Why do you always hate on her?"

"Because she's your weakness and how people will hurt you. I don't like that."

"Get over it." Jiyong said and ran off away from his brother.

Mireya remained wherever Taeyang had stashed her. She was calm despite the attack, ruining their fun outside. But most of the day had passed and the boys had not returned with her sister. She'd thought of calling her brother a few times but had decided against it. The twins were good. They would find Mandi. Even if Mandi was hurt, Mireya could heal her. It would all be fine, she told herself. But she didn't know what that potion had been. She hadn't realized what it had done to her sister.

They didn't take long to reply. But Jiyong paused in the door way. It was.... Awkward. Mandi had kept his secret.

"Oh fuck this," Taeyang said, he went into the house that he'd left mireya in, knowing she'd be safe. "So your sister is a fiend. Let me tell you why, she fell in love with my brother. Who is Reshiram, and yes that means I'm Zekrom, so he's immortal. Don't freak out we are here to look after you, but you know that already, right? So yeah. It's out. We are gods, worship us later. Just heal your dumb sister who has totally broken her leg."

"That wasn't very gentle," Jiyong said as he came up behind his brother and placed Mandi on Miri's lap. "I'm sorry."

"Me too, I hate this situation as much as she will."

Post by Cedahlia Thu Nov 17, 2016 9:06 pm

Mireya's lavender eyes just stared at the two boys. "I'm sorry, what?" she asked, just completely thrown from the words coming out of Taeyang's mouth. She looked down at the tiny fox on her lap. That was her sister now? How could that be? And why hadn't she been part of the incredibly important decision of becoming a fiend to be immortal to live forever with her secret fiend boyfriend.

She took a breath. If her mind was scattered then healing wouldn't go well. So she focused on the little fiend's leg, a golden light spreading from her hand to the leg until it healed.

"I know." Jiyong said and knelt down beside mireya, a calming hand on her shoulder and another on the tiny fox. "It's a lot to take in, but we kept you safe by having it be a secret."

"Yours and your sisters safety is the biggest priority in our life." Taeyang said, and then he added, "Bae's and Eden's too. Of course."

Mireya nodded. "Thank you," she said quietly, a little intimidated to know that her best guy friends were gods. Her brother's best friend and her sister's boyfriend were gods. That just wasn't something you ever expected. "May I ask why my family has gods protecting us?" She couldn't imagine that was normal. She looked down at her sister's limp fox body. "I've healed her," she said quietly. "But I don't think I can fix that her memory is gone. That's not exactly healing..."

"Because you're special and the previous Master of Dragons asked us too," Taeyang said, he was being gentler now. But he wasn't going to tell her more than that they weren't allowed.

"I know the antidote, we need things. You can help me." Jiyong said, he thought that keeping her busy was best right now anyway.

Mireya nodded. She knew that people thought of her as the Princess of Fairies. She didn't understand what that meant though. But eventually it would have to come out. "What can I do?" she asked Jiyong, relieved to hear that there was an antidote. Surely it would work on her sister if he knew of it. "And what should I do with her in the meantime?"

"We need the ingredients and then to make it, it's very tricky. It might not work the first time, or even the second. But we will fix this." Jiyong said and stood up, he took Mandi from Miri as he did. "Let us go to your home as your grandmother will likely have what we need."

"Can we go the fast way now that she knows?" Taeyang asked.

"If she will allow you to carry her."

"I'll allow it," Mireya said quickly. "Anything for my sister." She went over to Taeyang. It should have scared her to know that he was a god. But it didn't. She couldn't quite believe it fully. This was her brother's silly and immature best friend. He just couldn't be an all mighty power. "I'm so glad that no one is home right now. I'm not sure how I'd even begin to explain this..." Maybe a trick of magic would do?

"Don't think about it. Hold tight. I don't want to lose you half way or something. And don't tell Drake." Taeyang said and took hold of her waist. Carrying was such a lose term, he would have preferred to fly, but there was not time.

"Don't even joke about that," Jiyong said as he just vanished with Mandi. Don't ask for an explanation. He's a god.

"Okay," Mireya agreed with a nod. She wrapped her arms around him and closed her eyes. Whatever he was going to do she didn't want to see it or even be aware of it if possible. She just wanted it over with so she could help her sister return to normal. Or what her new normal was apparently.

Mandisa was jolted awake but the sudden movement. She startled in Jiyong's arm, her blue eyes snapping open. Nothing about her home triggered any memories. She could smell humans all around the place and her first instinct was to scramble to find a hiding space.

Taeyang moved mireya as his brother as travelled back to their house. He was quick about it because he didn't want her to be sick, or too nervous. "Home."

Jiyong felt terrible, but he scruffed Mandi. He had no choice, she would try and hurt him and hurt herself instead. "Do you have some sort of crate of animal cage we could put her in for now?"

Mireya opened her eyes and stepped away from Taeyang to look at her sister. "We might have an animal container we use for transporting injured animals to and from the forest," she said and dashed into another room in the house.

Mandisa just hung there. She didn't dare move while being held like that. Her eyes looked around and she might a small whining sound in protest of how she was being held.

Mireya came back a few seconds later with a cushioned box. "Will this work? It's a little big but it might contain her," she said and put the large thing down. It was meant to hold a deer inside, not a tiny fox, but perhaps it would do.

Jiyong stroked Mandisa with his spare hand, trying to put her at ease. "If it can hold a deer, it can hold her." He reasoned though he wasn't sure.

"Stay with her, give me the list of things you need." Taeyang said, as he watched his brother put his little girlfriend in the cage type thing.

Mireya stood by the cage. She knelt down in front of it and looked through the front grate at her sister. She'd never seen a fiend like that before. She didn't even know what it was called. "Let me know if you need help finding anything," she said to Taeyang. She knew where everything was when it came to healing.

Mandisa paced around the cage, sniffing the floor and bars. She inspected it, looking for a weakness that she could exploit. Her fluffy head pushed through the bars. If her head could fit then her body would likely follow.
