Eden Interview

Nicki slid into the library and into the chair beside Eden. She was grinning at him as she did. She placed two smoothies on the table, one his favourite and her own strawberry and banana. "Hello there, gorgeous." She said and winked at him.

Eden smiled Oh so charmingly and winked back at her as a greeting. "Is this a bribe to get me to behave?" He asked as he took the smoothie.

"Who said I want you to behave?" Nicki replied, because ha. You couldn't help yourself with a man like Eden. "But if you mean so you'll answer questions, still no. I'm thirsty. The needing hydrating kind. Not the other." She said and sipped her smoothie through her straw.

"Well I just so happen to be in the mood to answer questions so no bribe was required," Eden said, sitting comfortably in his chair while he waited.

"Oh I'm glad." Nicki said, because that made it easier. It still wasn't a bribe, she was just being nice. "You recently learned about your story, why you don't remember much of your childhood etc. How do you feel about all that?"

"Not that great," Eden admitted. "I'm relieved to finally know where we come from and who our parents really are. But at the same time, there's the burden of being royalty. I have to dethrone the queen and if my father truly is dead and not missing like we were then that makes me High King. I'm not sure I'm ready for that kind of pressure."

"Some of the greatest leaders didn't get to lead by choice. They were thrown into their position, untested, not ready and yet..." Nicki trailed off, but then she changed the subject. "What are some of your favourite things?"

"Books," Eden said. "Not really modern fiction books but old texts about history or magic. I love old artifacts as well. Figuring out what they do and why someone made them."

"I love all books, new or old." Nicki said happily. Books made her happy. "So what is your ideal person? Personality and looks if you have a type?"

"Looks for me aren't as important. I'm not a blonde over brunette kind of person. But my ideal would have to be someone who shares my passion for knowledge and adventure. It's very difficult to find someone who enjoys my line of work enough to want to participate. But when I find someone that does, then I'll know," Eden said.

Nicki laughed, but waved her hand. "Hi, I'm Nicki. I love all these things. Let's go get married." She joked, but there was plenty of people like that. "Just kidding, I think my boyf would be hella mad. You don't think anyone in your life is like that right now? I can think of...hm, at least two."

"Well you're not wrong," Eden admitted. "Haru is a very sweet girl. I would maybe say music is more her passion than exploration though. She's a wonderful musician an I enjoy listening to her song. But I feel pretty bad for her, that whole thing with Zeke. Tae and I are hoping those two manage to stay friends through it all." Not that zeke had yet come out to anyone but her but they all knew.

"And Bobby...he's pretty damn hot for a guy," Eden admitted with a laugh. "I don't often go for men but I would go there. I just don't get the impression he would do the same."
