Uxie and the Dragons

"I think that's a wonderful idea," Ermes said. "When you're ready, of course. We don't want to push you. We just don't want to see you so upset anymore." And family should be close, if possible. Especially when they needed each other.

"I don't know that I'll ever be able to do enough," Uxie said unhappily. He was not emotional but he hadn't actually been happy since the End of Days. He didn't even remember what it felt like any longer. Especially not now. He looked up then. "Are you making me food?" He was honestly surprised that Zekrom was still there. He had no idea that the dragon planned to stay with him.

"I think tomorrow." Jiyong said, he didn't think him nor Uxie would do well in a conversation today. "He needs rest and I need to calm."

"Thats very reasonable of you," Ryuu said, he wasn't surprised. Jiyong was always the reasonable one.

"All we wanted was your help make the world better than this," Taeyang said, but he shook his head. "Yes, I'm making you food. I'll be staying with you for a little bit. Before we find a better permanent solution."

"It is," Ermes said, proud that he was going back to his reasonable self. "Let us know when you're ready tomorrow. And until then, why don't we do something that would make you happy for now?" She didn't know what it was but she was willing to do whatever.

Uxie closed his eyes, unhappy. He knew what the twins had wanted. And he'd tried so hard to not have the world end up like this too. But they'd all failed.

He opened his eyes in surprise. "R-realy?" he asked

"What would you like to do?" Jiyong said, he would be happy doing what made them happy.

"Yeah, why? Do you want me to get someone else?" Taeyang asked, maybe Uxie didn't trust him. Thst was fair really.

Bake was the first thing that came to Ermes mind. She'd become so domestic. She did not say that. "Ryuu?"

"No," Alex said, not wanting to insult him. He didn't think that Zekrom would hurt him either. So far he'd been really nice despite clearly being angry with him still.

"Oh, no my love. You can pick." Ryuu said, plus it was a good way for Jiyong to learn how to have fun as a human.

"Okay, good. Because I don't know who would come here." Taeyang said honestly, but then he brought the food over to Uxie.

Uxie looked at the food. It smelled so good. He wanted all of it in his belly. But he didn't touch it yet. He reached out to zekrom and placed his hand his forehead. He pushed his limited power through his hand.

It hurt him. He only winced a little to hide that as much as he could and let his hand drop. "There," he said quietly. "Now you'll learn how to act as a human faster. It's the only gift I can give you as thanks for now."

Tae blinked and then felt... Well, weird. That was a lot. "You didn't have to gift me anything. I did this because I want too."

"I know," Uxie said, feeling dizzy and weak again. "But you didn't have to do it. You hate me. So I wanted to thank you got helping me anyway."

"I don't hate you," Taeyang said, shaking his head. That was too strong of a word. "I'm unhappy with your trio. There was an issue with everyone being arrogant and believing their were right, but in the end... Unfortunately, we were right and you were wrong."

"Not exactly," Uxie said. "There were three futures that could have been born. One is the future we are in now. The Dark future. The second was the right one, the Harmony future. And the third was the one that actually came to pass without the help of the Chosen. The Slave."

"Well, we aimed for harmony." Taeyang pointed out, because that had been the goal. No one had intended it to be dark, or slavery.

"It is what we wanted as well. Unfortunately, certain things that happened made it impossible for that future to be attained. So when that became so, we aimed to get away from Slavery," Uxie said. "Maybe it was not the right choice. But I could not live with with Dialga showed me our creations do with our fellows. I couldn't handle that guilt. I am sorry. I cannot make it right. Not yet. But when Drake is unlocked, he can go back in time once more and fix the things that must be fixed for Harmony to happen. And even like this I can write down that information and give it to him."

"If Drake is like Ryuu, you know he won't need it. It wasn't all him." Taeyang said, otherwise they would have never responded to his summoning. They would have never joined his fight. "I don't agree with a he did, or all anyone did. But I agree with his ideals."

"He will need to know what will need to be fixed. Or at least how. But perhaps not. I do not know," Uxie said. He couldn't see the future after all. He only knew what was and what had already been. But talking about Ryuu was not the easiest topic for him. Understandably. "I don't disagree with his ideals. I understand what he was trying to achieve and why he was doing it even if I do not like the way he went about trying to achieve them. But because I understand, I was able to forgive him a long time ago."

"He forgives you and the trio too." Taeyang said, he didn't know if Uxie wanted to hear that, but he thought it was important.
