Tae's eyes widened and then he turned to give Lucian a look. "Why did you let it get this far before coming to me?" He said, standing up and walking over to push his brother back into the other room so that the boy couldn't hear. "Surely you don't hate me, or him, that much?"

"I do not," Lucian replied, going willingly into the other room so that Gaius could not hear their discussions. "I did not until recently know who he was involved with. Partially because he himself did not know either. Our favorite brother kept his true identity a secret from my assistant. Of course I ordered it ended when I learned of it but Yveltal wouldn't hear of it. He punished the boy quite dearly for attempting a break up. I went to father but he will not allow me to become directly involved. I am to remain neutral with our siblings and Gaius is...only a vulpix."

"That's bullshit, no one who can't handle Yveltal should be with him, father knows that." Taeyang said, clearly beyond mad at the situation. "I can't kill him. Nothing but father can, everytime he gets close he will devour life all around him from whatever be can, including me. This isn't huge it's astronomical. But fuck yeah, I'm in."

"Are you sure?" Lucian asked, showing no surprise although he felt it. "You have a master and a son to think of now. You can't endanger yourself recklessly for a stranger," he reminded him. "But there is not anyone else I can think of that will stand as much of a chance of freeing Gaius as you. The attack alone will not be enough. I work too closely with Death and the God of Death to keep him here and know him safe. He can't stay here with me while Yveltal still has an interest."

"Send him to Jiyong we will care for him. Our dick head brother can't kill me, even if I returned wounded, then Jiyong can pick up the slack. Or Mireya can heal me. It's okay." Taeyang said he was ready to go. He wasn't scared.

"I will send him when you are ready to receive him," Lucian said with a nod. "Of course, I will owe you anything you would request of me for this." He would not be able to turn Taeyang away for anything. He would be deeply indebted to him. But he didn't mind.

{Get the room next to mine ready for a new house guest, now.} Taeyang said to his twin as he looked at Lucian. "seeing as you appear to be getting sappy requests today, I have but one. Be easier on me when i prank you, be my friend and learn to laugh."

Lucian blinked. "That's what you would ask of me? That's your big favor? That I learn to laugh at your silliness?" He was openly confused and surprised now. "Well, I will do my best with that request but I do not think it fitting as a favor."

"I said be my friend. Call it part one of many. It's a very good start. I don't want to be worried when you summon me, I want to be able to invite you over to see him outside of work so you can see I'm doing a good job and think to myself, we can have a beer, sit on the balcony and look at the stars and talk about guy stuff. Brother stuff." Taeyang said, he didn't think it was so confusing. "You can be a whiny bitch about my pranks sometimes. It's half of the fun. But sometimes laughing is good too. Appreciate me for me and I'll appreciate you for you, let's be proper brothers like you are with Jiyong." He said and put a hand out for Lucian to shake on it.

That Lucian understood. " A reasonable request," he agreed and took Taeyang's hand to shake to it. He had no actual dislike for the man. They just clashed terribly in personality. But he would try. That was a small thing to ask for.

"Nice!" Taeyang said happily, overly enthusiastic even. He even gave Lucian a hug. Just because he could. "Jiyong said his room is ready, he's even set up like snacks and hot chocolate for you both when you take him. I'm gonna go kick some bird ass."

"Do you know where to find him? Or do you have your ways of summoning him?" Lucian did but he sometimes had to have epic verbal fights with him for doing shit he wasn't supposed to be doing. Taeyang likely didn't have need to interact with that brother all that much. "Either way I will be prompt with bring Gaius over. He will need much tending." Lucky they had a healer.

"I always know where he is, so that I don't have to deal with finding him if he over steps." Taeyang said with a wink, because that was a thing. He was really the only one who could stand up to the guy without being massively hurt.

"Fair enough. I wish you all of the luck with your fight," Lucian said and left Taeyang to it. He couldn't help him. He wasn't even allowed to be there. But he did go into the other room and sat down next to Gaius. "Do you understand what is happening here?" he asked.

"No," Gaius admitted.

"Taeyang is going to fight Yveltal for your freedom. Do not protest," Lucian said quickly. "He is the only one that can stand up to him well. He will be fine. He will also be your guardian from this day forth until it is safe for you to return."

"But how am I to assist you if I am not with you?" Gaius asked.

"We'll work on that later. For now we must get you somewhere safe. Are you ready?"

Gaius nodded. "I will go where you tell me."

Jiyong was waiting for them, he had Mandisa bring Mireya here so they could take a look at the new house guest. He hoped he wasn't too badly hurt and would accept their help easily.

Jiyong however was no longer in Lucian's home nor was he at his own. He could feel his brothers nervous energy though he was fully calm. {I'm coming home tonight. I'll be hungry and tired. But definitely alive.}

{You had better.} Jiyong replied though he knew that Jiyong was good at fighting their wicked brother. He still cared.

{if I don't--}

{You just said you would.}

{But if I don't, I don't hate Mandisa. At all, okay? I'm scared that they will hurt her to get to you and we will both lose her. Take care of Eddie and this new kid, he's gonna need it. Tell Bae I love him. And I love you, too. Very much.}

{Shut up. I'd rather you hate her so I can hate you.} Jiyong said, nearly in tears.

{Okay. But you'll regret you said that.} Taeyang said, he was no longer a human but a dragon. A glorious, massive dragon flying over the skies towards Yveltal. His brother didn't respond but the great wave of emotions that engulfed him werent hate, but fear and love.

Lucian brought Gaius over then. He would send some of his servants over later with Gaius' things so that he would feel more comfortable in his new home. The boy by this point had nearly succumbed to the pain killers he'd been given and was well out of it. Taking him to the house itself was rough on him but not enough to make much of a difference.

Mireya was ready for someone wounded but she still winced at the sight of him.

"Ouch," Mandisa said. Even she could appreciate how much all of that had to hurt.

Holy shit, that's not what I expected and yet I shouldn't be surprised." Jiyong said sadly, he went over and bowed to Gaius out of respect. "You are very strong to withstand my evil brothers influences and I wish to formally apologise to you for any harm he has caused you, but also to promise that me and my brother will never again allow him to lay a finger on you."

Jiyong was being allowed to hear the conversation. He sent feelings of pride back to his brother. It was their place to take care of the boy now. As their evil brother had done it to them, it was about honour. He dipped his wings, making them more streamline to himself as he plummeted towards the ground, right before the last second he let them out again, letting them stop his fast descent before landing perfectly on the floor outside the cave his brother was living in for the moment. Tomorrow it would be a penthouse, no doubt.
Taeyang, being the playful brother, usually had many witty remarks and quips for Yveltal, but today he had none. He wasted no time in proceeding to kick the shit into him. His teeth immediately sunk into the sleeping birds throat as he lifted him up and slammed him into the nearest rock.

He shook him like a dog shook a bird it had caught trying to kill it. But Yveltal responded by pecking him and scratching at him with his ugly ass feet.

"Thank you," Gaius said weakly. He wanted to go back to sleep but he couldn't. He had to trust these people. Lucian would never give him to them if they would hurt him. He knew that for sure.

"Please, could you lay him down? His room is ready. It will be easier for me to heal him if he is resting," Mireya said. She didn't want to waste any time in taking care of the poor thing.

"Lead the way," Lucian said. He was full of approval for Jiyong's words. He gave him a sad smile to show it

Jiyong put a hand on Lucian's shoulder. "This way," he said and lead him to the room that was beside Taeyang's, "It's not very big, I'm sorry to say but it's the best we could do on short notice." at this rate they'd need a bigger apartment.

Taeyang growled lowly as pain seared through his body and he slammed the bird into the rock wall beside them - hard enough that the ground shook and quivered as it might give way. The wall did, they broke through it and tumbled down a hill and towards a village. Tae with his teeth still clinging to the birds neck. Once they righted themselves he threw his long neck back up and took Yveltal with him before slamming him into the ground and creating a creator.
Gifts were used. Fiends type moves happened, destroying anything in their paths until finally, Yveltal was nearly at deaths door. He lay limply under Taeyang's gaze as he look down at him, his eyes furrowed in disgust.

"You will leave Gaius alone. You will never again lay a hand on him, or I will end you and fuck what father says, it will be worth it. Don't think either that I'm letting you live out of mercy or kindness. I do it so for the rest of your disgusting life you remember this moment, this moment when I could have ended you before you used your powers and I didn't." He leaned in close to Yveltal's bird like face and growled, "Your life belongs to me now."

"He does not require anything big," Lucian said as he followed his brother through the hallway to the room. He set the boy down on the bed after turning down the covers.

Gaius winced in pain as his body settled. He continued to watch them out of his good eye.

"You did well with taking care of him," Mireya said to Lucian as she sat down on the bed beside the boy and examined in. "May I ask what you are? I should like to be sure that my gifts will not harm you."

"A vulpix, Miss," Gaius replied. Pure fire. She would not hurt him.

"There's snacks and calming drinks that people enjoy, apparently." Jiyong said, but he wasn't a fan of hot chocolate no matter what Mandi told him. "Extra blankets, you have to share the bathroom with Tae, only downside. Considering he's as bad as a preening woman." he smiled.

Taeyang pushed off the ground leaving Yveltal on the ground, he knew that he would use his tricks and he didn't want to be around for it. But his evil brother had no intention of letting him leave before he had, choosing instead to steal his life force.

Taeyang watched as the area around him died and felt the tug on his own life energy. He tried to get further away so that Yveltal couldn't really steal much, but flying became too difficult.

He just vanished and landed in the hallway of their apartment as a man, a bleeding and damaged man. But a man and not a dragon who have squished their place.

Both girls jumped at the sound of Taeyang returning in such a dramatic fashion. As Mireya was currently working on healing the plethora of wounds on Gaius, Mandisa ran out into the hallway to check on the noise. "Oh shit," she exclaimed. "You got fucked up. Miri, you might want to leave the kid for a minute."

"Oh?" Mireya asked and finished up what she was doing with Gaius. He still needed a lot of healing but Mandisa made it sound urgent so she didn't dally. She went right out into the hallway. "Oh no..." Poor Taeyang looked a wreck. She knelt down beside him and got to work right there. Healing what she could as quickly as she could would make it easier for him to be moved without further injuring him.

"No. Finish healing the kid." Taeyang said and pushed Miri away softly. He wasn't that bad. "I just need to rest. It was a big fight. Go on, Miri."

Jiyong tried to protest against it, but then knew better. "The faster you heal the boy, the faster he'll let you fix him." He said and pulled Miri back into the room.

"Yes but..." Mireya wanted to protest. Taeyang's wounds were a little more urgent than Gaius's. She couldn't fight it though. Both of the brothers were telling her to go fix the other man so she sat down on the bed again and got to work.

Mireya knew that she couldn't fully heal everything that had been done to him in one go. She just didn't have the energy to do that and heal Taeyang so that he could walk around normally either. So she had to leave some things only half or mostly healed. His black eye, for example, became mostly healed. Bruising was still evident but he could use the eye again. The bruises on his neck faded as well but there was nothing she could do about the scar that was there. She fixed his broken ribs so that he could breathe and move easier with minimal bruising still on his chest.

"Up you get," Jiyong said to his brother and lifted his brother up gently. He took him to his bed and put him there he went back to the room. "Do you need anything more?"
