Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"I'm just struggling to contact him. I'll be back," Jiyong said, he didn't put Mandisa down, but he went straight to Lucian. Where ever he was. "Since when do you make it impossible for family to contact you?"
"Lucian is in a bad mood. This is going to be terrible. I should go. Or something. Hide..." Taeyang said and tried to crawl under the sofa like Mandisa had.

Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Since I'm not in the mood for family to visit," Lucian replied. He was not at all in a good mood. He was in his study. It was the only room in his above world home that was connected to the Underworld. The windows in it were confusing, one showing one place and the other showing the opposite. His desk was covered in paperwork. He held a couple of pieces in his hand.
A man stood behind him holding a folder. His personal assistant looked surprised at the sudden invasion. He wore black and white formal clothes of a uniform nature.

Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Lucian, please. I've never turned you away when you've needed me." Jiyong said, he felt that was what a family was. They leaned on each other. "What's the problem brother? Why are you so pissed?"
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"It is not a problem that you can help me with," Lucian said. He didn't seem inclined to talk about it. But he was close with Reshiram so he caved. "One of my men attempted to take my daughter's life today. He was dispatched of before he could harm her but I cannot think he would take the initiative to do something so incredibly stupid on his own."
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
Jiyong looked thoughtful, "no, that's pretty stupid of them. You're right. If you need help with the investigation, I can arrange things. Psychics and such?" He suggested he was being patient when he didn't want to be
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"I appreciate the offer but you have your own worries. I imagine that is why you are here," Lucian said. "We are both too busy for friendly and casual visits nowadays. So is your visit personal or does it involve your new Master?" he asked and gestured at Gaius to get their guest a drink.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"No, it's personal. Mandisa was hit with a memory potion." Jiyong said, he knew that Lucian could fix it. "However, I couldn't get the potion right?"
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"That is a difficult one," Lucian agreed. "I'm not surprised. They're meant to fail in such a way that doesn't affect the memory because if you damaged hers, there would be no fixing it." He thought for a moment. "I can help you but you will have to bring her here. This is far too delicate. Memories make us who we are. They shape and form our personality for the most part. I will not risk you losing your lady so soon over shoddy work."
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
Jiyong held up the Fox in his hands. "I did bring her." He laughed as he walked over to the desk. Perhaps Lucian hadn't expected her to be a tiny ass fiend.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
Lucian blinked. He hadn't even noticed the little zorua. "Oh," he said as he looked at her. "She's was so quiet..." Mandisa was not quiet. He was shocked. "Hm. Place her on the desk for me please." He wrote out a very specific list of things he needed and handed it to Gaius.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"She might run," Jiyong protested, he wasn't sure. "Will you run, my little fox?" He asked her and scratched under her chin.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
Mandisa whined. Lucian was a he'll hound after all. She didn't want to go to him. She gave no answer or inclination that she would behave.
But Lucian ran a smoothly operating mini kingdom of the dead. He was well used to commanding and having people listen to him without even trying hard. "Come here," he told her and held out his arms.
She obeyed and jumped into them. He set her gently in the desk on a pillow he had there for when his daughter was with him.
"Stay," he told her and she again obeyed.

Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Well that was easier than expected." Jiyong said, he hadn't expected that. But he was glad for it. He would have to introduce them properly once her memory had returned.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"There are very few people and fiends that I have met that will not listen to my orders," Lucian said. He was confident that she would. And he was right.
Gaius returned with the ingredients on a tray and set it down on a desk. Then he offered Jiyong a drink as his nerves had to be shot from the ordeal.
Lucian got to work on the potion. He didn't hesitate. He clearly knew what he was doing with it.

Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Thanks, Gaius." Jiyong said, he did take the drink. It didn't take him long to drink it all either. "How long does the antidote take?"
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"It is best to let her sleep for the rest of the night. Her memory will return to her by dawn. My memory potions take longer because it is a gentler process. It will not cause her shock or confusion."
He was offered a refill on his drink.
He was offered a refill on his drink.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
Jiyong took the refill. He just needed it. "Oh. That's a little disappointing. Will she remember today, as well as the rest of her memories?" He asked, because he wasn't really sure how it worked. He was upset enough as it was, the day had been long and tiring. Stressful too.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"I don't know which of her memories will return first," Lucian admitted as he swirled the potion together. He lit the flask on fire briefly and watched as it changed from a green color to a blue. "She will remember today. The memories will trickle back immediately. But the day is nearly over. Unless you plan on keeping her up, which I do not advise, I would attempt patience and wait for morning to push her."
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Perhaps a sleeping potion as well as this would be a good idea then," Jiyong said, because he was being adamant that sleep was the best plan of action. He wasn't going to ignore Lucian as he had better experience with this than he did. So he couldn't argue.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Wouldn't harm," Lucian replied. He sent Gaius to bring him a sleeping potion while he had Mandisa drink all of the memory potion. Nothing negative happen. She seemed entirely normal as he let her go. She drank the sleeping potion as well and was already starting to get groggy as Lucian handed her back to Jiyong.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Thank you, brother. If there is anything you think of that I can do to help with your problem, please let me know." Jiyong said as he picked up Mandisa, he snuggled her close to his chest and scratched under her chin. "Perhaps I can find a lie detector type fiend or gifted person and bring them to you?"
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"I would appreciate your help," Lucian said. "But you have your own problems to focus on. And plenty of them I imagine now that your master has returned." Lucian had so many things weighing in him but you'd never know. He was good at getting things taken care of. He wasn't too proud to ask for help but he would exhaust all his options before turning to another.
Re: The Zorua and the Memory Potion
"Hm, but never so much I would turn away family. Just so you know." Jiyong said because he wasn't going to let his brother snub his help like that.
