Taeyang and Gaius: To Change Fate

"Yeah, I got in a fight with my brother. Because he's a prick." Taeyang shrugged, he licked his lip so that the blood would go away. "But you needed the health potion more than I did, so I gave it to you. Which means, you technically owe me more than just our date."

"That sounds fair," Gaius said and thought about what he could give him. Couldn't be just anything. Had to be worthy of a god. "Um...hm...so here's the thing. I don't really have anything. But my parents' masters are loaded. I kind of ran away from my mom to find my dad but he moved since I last saw him. But when I find him I'll let him know what you did for me and I'm sure we could work out something."

"I don't want your money. I want a second date." Taeyang thought Gaius was hilarious he kept thinking in monetary values. "Gaius, I'm rich and have everything. Everything but you."

Gaius looked like he was at a loss for words for a moment. "I don't get it," he said finally. "Why would you want me? I'm nobody. What am I missing here?" Because there had to be something. "Or is this a dream? I did eat some weird tasting cheese..."

"You're not missing anything and maybe you don't think you're special," Taeyang started as he looked at Gaius, a little confused that he didn't appear to understand. "It's not a dream either, I mean I know I'm massively good looking and charming, but I'm definitely real."

Gaius laughed. "Well I did just wake up to a god, whose temple I happen to be in, tending to my wounds and saving my life, wanting nothing in return but to go out with me. So you'll have to excuse me for thinking my mind made all this up because you're even hotter than anyone I've met before on top of it."

"I know, my looks could kill if I tried harder." Taeyang said, he was massively amused. "Just... Take a chance and trust me? I ask only for two dates. Okay, definitely three, because people don't put out till the third right? And if you want to stay after that then well...we will see."

"Stay?" Gaius asked. "You mean with you? Look, I'd be stupid to tell you no." And he knew that. "It isn't every day, or like ever, that this sort of thing happens right? So sure. I'll go on dates with you." Not like he had anything else to be doing. He'd been wandering for a while now. Might be nice to just not for a little bit.

"Yes, stay with me." Taeyang said, he realised that was forward. But you know, he just didn't care. "I understand this comes across as weird, but I'm glad you're giving me a chance. I know what I want and what I want is you."

"You sound so very confident in that," Gaius said. "It's kind of weird. But I'm kind of digging it." Which he realized was probably not very smart of him but whatever. "So you don't like, actually live here do you? Because I'm going to feel so awkward for hiding out in your house."

"No, I have a house somewhere else. This is just one of the many temples I have. I visit occasionally to take the offerings and leave thank you gifts." Taeyang said, because he thought it was sweet that people worshipped him. "Come down and have some food and a drink. Meet my brother."

"Your brother? Oh, you mean Reshiram," Gaius said as he remembered that Zekrom was a twin and his brother had a temple on the other side of the town. "You'll uh...have to let me go first," he said with some humor.

"No, my other brother. Lucian." Taeyang said, he didn't let go though, he just floated down holding onto the Fox. "Brother, say hello to Gaius, if you're finished looting with permission."

"I am," Lucian said as he looked at the boy. He was younger than when they'd first met. A few years, perhaps. "Hello," he said though no more. He did not desire to inspire Taeyang's temper.

"Hi," Gaius said as he recovered from just floating down. If he'd doubted before that Taeyang was who he said he aas, he couldn't now. But he hadn't.

"Gaius, this is Lucian. He runs the... Well, you explain it. I'll make you sound like a guy from a Disney movie." Taeyang said and waved his hand dismissively as he went through all the things to find drink and food.

Lucian did not understand that. "I run the underworld and am in charge of managing the dead," he answered while his brother looted his own offerings.

"Oh. So that's...fun," Gaius said, not sure what to make of that.

"It's creepy, but he's good at that too." Taeyang said as he pulled out some things to eat and drink. "Join us." He said to Lucian as he pulled him over. Because he could.

Lucian wanted to protest that he was not hungry but he didn't know when they would be returning so he caved and joined them for food.

Gaius had eaten before they showed up but that had been a hasty meal of cheese and bread. A more relaxed meal was appealing to him. "The humans sure leave you nice things. Gotta love that."

"Of course they do, I'm the coolest God." Taeyang said, he wasn't that hungry. But he wanted to charm the boy a bit more than he already had, to make sure that when he left to return the seed was planted and he'd leave the rest to fate.

Gaius laughed. "Cool wasn't how I would have described you. Before," he added. "Scary maybe? Your teeth especially look very realistic," he commented as he looked up at the statue towering over them.

"Only a few dragons are pretty. Dratini and dragonair. But they're also very rare. I apologise, but my teeth aren't scary right now." Taeyang pointed out as he smiled rather sweetly for Gaius. "Would you describe me as scary, brother?"

"Not at the moment," Lucian said. "Though I have never found you particularly frightening," Lucian said.

"You also hang around dead people so..." Gaius didn't think that counted.

"Right, he does. All the time. But still." Taeyang said as set out food, it was all good. But mostly dried meats, cheese and fruits. The wine was good though. The whiskey was better. "I'm about as scary as a puppy. My other brother, Yveltal, he's scary. You should never talk to him. Ever."
