"So we get to sit here being bored because you don't want to learn and because I like being human? How is that any fairer?" Tan laughed, the logic on this one was too funny.

"We can do other things," Jiro said. "You can help me with stuff that I actually need help with. Like art." That's was one of his only interests. "And there's ano oven so you can bake. I couldn't work out the skateboard though.'

"Right, so it's fun on your terms then." Tan said, he wasn't going to give up on the other subjects though. "Look, if you don't actually learn stuff, they're going to get suspicious and I'll get into trouble. You have to at least try. How about, you learn a page of this boring maths book, then I'll back you apple and raising cookies?"

Jiro glanced at the sheet of paper. "Done," he said after all of a minute. He seemed completely serious. "I have a photographic memory. I Rembert everything I look at." He just didn't care enough to apply himself. That was the real issue.

"Well then, come and help me cook and I'll quiz you on it to be sure then." Tan said and stood up, he thought that was nifty. But he partly didn't believe it. "If you get more than 15% of my questions wrong, you're not getting a cookie."

"Apples?" Jiro asked. Yeah that was a good bribe. He stood up and followed tan to the little kitchenette. "What do I do?" He asked. He would get single answer right without hesitation.

"Yes with apples," Tan laughed, Jiro was so into apples. It was hilarious how much a kid could be into something healthy. Seriously. "You just answer my questions as we bake." He said, he got the things he needed and threw a question out there but his player knows shit about maths, so use imagination.

Jiro answer without hesitation. He watched what Tan was doing. He sat down in the counter. He didn't care if he was in the way. "How many questions?"

"At least 15." Tan said, he asked another as he put the things into the bowl to mix them. He was quick with baking, but he'd done it since he was little. With his mum's help of course, but still. He worked around Jiro, he didn't mind it.

Jiro answered again. He just recited it, throwing the question out there like he didn't care at all but being it right. He wanted to steal the apple.

Tan laughed, he could tell that Jiro wasn't even trying. He asked a harder one, one that he knew Jiro would have to think about as it was similar to many on the page he'd put into his memory. He held up a slice of apple as well, just out of the boys reach. "If you get it right I might let you have this." Might.

Jiro stared at the apple. He wanted it. He narrowed his eyes. He could maybe steal it. Maybe. But he said the answer and then tried to snatched the apple from tan.

Tan jerked backwards though, with a grin. "Now now, patience." He said teasingly, but he still put the slice close enough to Jiro's mouth so that be could eat it. "No snatching. We aren't toddlers."

Jiro raised an eyebrow at that. He lunged forward and snapped at the apple slice, catching it in his teeth to yank it away from Tan and gobble it up. He loved apples so damn much. They were like his crack. Or something.

"If you take my fingers off, I won't be able to finish the cookies, or give you any more." Tan pointed out, he thought cats were more gentle than dogs. Maybe it was different with absol's or whatever. Eh. He asked another question and held another apple slice well away from Jiro. WELL AWAY. He liked his fingers attached.

Tan had clearly never seen an absol to think them gentle creatures. Jiro munched happily on his apple slice, pleased with himself for retrieving it and amused with Tan's reaction. He eyed the apple slice held way out of his reach and answered the question. He did not lung. "I don't want your fingers in my mouth."

Tan just gave Jiro a look. Because there was so many dirty things he could say, but he refused. He went to give Jiro the apple slice but just as he put it close enough for the boy to get, he quickly put it into his own mouth and crunched it with a grin as he continued to bake innocently.

Jiro's mouth formed a little "o" of surprise when Tan ate the apple slice. He'd tricked him. There were lots of ways he could have responded to that. He could have played it cool like it didn't matter. He could have tackled Tan and stolen a different apple slice. But what he did was lay on the guilt. Hard. Puppy dog eyes and a little pout.

Tan laughed as he slid the baking tray into the preheated over and wiped off his hands on a towel before he went over to Jiro. Even then he took his time out it. He tugged at his bottom lip as Jiro protruded it so very well. "If you've had crushes, have you ever been kissed?"

Jiro blinked at some random a question. "No," he answered. "I have my been kissed." Holding hands was the most he'd done. But in his old school they'd enforced a certain distance between students ato dances so kisses had been difficult to sneak.

"Funny, 'cause you're so orally fixated I figured you would have." Tan said, he noticed the pout had gone though. So the puppy dog eyes hadn't worked on him and he'd managed to distract him. "I haven't either though."

"Why not?" Jiro asked. "You're an adult. Haven't all adults kissed?" He thought that his new siblings had kissed. Eden for sure. They weren't all adults though. Not yet.

"I've not made friends other than you, remember? I'm not kissing my siblings." Tan said with a grimace, ew no. He was interested in other people. Well. Person. "If you were older I'd kiss you, but I think it's a little weird."

"You want to kiss me?" Jiro asked. "Because I'm your friend and I'm not related to you?" He wasn't sure what to think of that. Tan was cute. He liked him. Plus he was older so he was definitely attractive in that aspect. But he wouldn't want to be kissed just because he was the only one around. That prorally wasn't it though.

"No because you're cute, is that not reason enough?" Tan asked, he could tell what Jiro was thinking. It wasn't that, he could go looking elsewhere if he wanted. It wasn't like he was without the guy all the time.
