Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Jiro shrugged. "School isn't interesting. My grades are fine. They're hounding on picking out what we want to do when school finished but I'm not going to do anything they want or expect of me."
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"What do you want to do?" Tan asked, he was like that too. He had no idea what his parents had expected of him. Probably more than he was doing right now. But that was fine, he had no intention of following orders right now.

"I don't know," Jiro said. "My parents had ideas for me but I don't know what Uncle Ray wants of me. I just want to do my art and be left alone, I guess. Not massively exciting." Not that it would matter. Before he turned 18 and had to decide Drake would have already returned and he'd be helping him.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Art is fun, I can help you get better at most things if you like. So they don't feel like you're ruining your chances at other things. I'll even be a boy for it," Tan said, because he thought that would help him get in good with the family. "You can tell them you picked me and I would be an art tutor among other subjects?"

"Yeah. They'd believe a tutor," Jiro said. He was not overly bothered with his grades. "But you'd like that better right? Then you can be a boy. We can rent a room some where. I have the money."
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Sounds good to me," Tan said, it meant they had time alone to bond and he could help Jiro with his studies and have the others lay off him a bit. And he could be a boy. Stretch his legs, so to speak.

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
some time later
Jiro had purchased a little house within a tree. The previous owners had been lost to fiends. It happened. But anot empty home was unless. It didn't cost very much. No one wanted to go into the home of the deceased while living in a haunted forest. Jiro wasn't even sort of bothered.
He unlocked the door and stepped inside. He'd already set it up to be comfortable and condusive to learning. He turned on the light and looked back at his "tutor". "Will this do?" He asked.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Tan walked in, it was so much nicer for him to be taller than Jiro. He liked that. Plus his hair. His clothes. Ahhh human! He liked it. He looked around the house, his hands pushed deep inside his jeans pockets. "It's cool," he said, but he was trying to play it cool. In reality, he thought it was pretty fucking awesome.

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Okay," Jiro replied, easily going along with his dragons response to the place. He shut the door and walked inside, taking a seat on the couch and just waiting for the dragon to join him. "What are we studying?" He inquired.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"I was thinking trigonometry to start, then history." Tan said, he went over to the bookshelves to look at all the many books. "I'm surprised you got an actual house rather than just a room. I mean, why?"

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Jiro shrugged. "I had the money and no one else was going to buy it. Makes a comfy hang out. I didn't want to rent a room at the school. Too many people. They'd interupt."
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"You want to be totally alone with me?" Tan asked, he realised that could be so pervy. So pervy. But it was still pretty much what Jiro had said. "Or do you not want your classmates to see me?"

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"I just want to be alone with you," Jiro said. "I don't care if they see you. I'm not sharing though. I don't like them that much." They were okay. Boring though compared to his new siblings.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Don't want to share me already?" Tan said with a grin as he picked out the books they needed and took them over to a table. He was very amused by Jiro at the best of times. Especially when he was territorial though.

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Am I supposed to? Do you want to be shared?" Jiro said with a little frown, a change from his normally blank expression. He looked down at the books for a short moment. He did fine was school but he just found it incredibly boring and dull.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Depends on how you're sharing me." Tan said, he was being gutterish. But he was just seeing how Jiro would react to it. He was usually so blank and expressionless, that he just had to poke now and see what happened.

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Jiro frowned a little more. "I'm not sharing you physically if that's what you're thinking." He wasn't for that. Not at all. He had a feeling that was what tan was thinking.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Only you get me physically then?" Tan asked, his eyebrow rising up pretty high. He was surprised that Jiro was being like this, but at the same time it amused him. It didn't offend him.

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"No. You're old," Jiro said. His frown was starting to fade. He was just not very expressive. He missed the flaw in that logic considering their earlier talk but oh well. He was 14. He doubted an 18 year old would go for that.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"You like older men." Tan pointed out, but he opened up the book anyway, flipped it around and pushed it towards Jiro with a grin. He was super amused. "You're silly."

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Yeah," Jiro agreed. He was silly. And strange. And he was okay with that. He looked down at the book and just sighed. "I'm not going to use math when I grow up," he complained.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"You might." Tan said, because he thought that math was used in a lot of things. Seriously. "You might need to work out things. Many things. So how can I make this easier on you? Shall I sit you in my lap for a change?"

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Jiro wasn't sure how that was going to help and looked a little doubtful. "Math is just so boring," he complained. Yes he might need it but he didn't want it. He was not going to be an easy student.
Re: A Boy and his Dragon
"Then what's the point of us being here?" Tan asked, he knew that Jiro was going to be difficult. He had just known it. "You're coming across like you have ulterior motives for bringing me here, studying isn't what you're after. So what is?"

Re: A Boy and his Dragon
Jiro sighed. "I just wanted to give you a place where you could be whatever and whoever you wanted to be for a few hours every day. It didn't seem fair otherwise."
