Pendragon Interview

It was time to sit down with the rarest seen and difficult of the dragons encountered so far. Well maybe not the most difficult but definitely one of them. "Hello, Pen," Kayhl greeted the redhead.

Pen was sprawled across the sofa in a very sexy manner. He smirked over at Kayhl when she arrived and nodded his head a little. "Sup?" He asked her.

"This interview," Kayhl replied. "Let's get started. Why don't you come out to interact as much as the others?"

"Because I embarrass Drake," Pen laughed, as he shrugged his shoulders dismissively. "Especially as he can't fully control me yet."

"Drake can't fully control the others yet but they listen to him and don't really give him much trouble. Why don't you?"

"Because I can?" Pen replied, his eyebrow going up slightly.

"Tell me about your relationship with him," Kayhl suggested. "Where did you meet and how do you feel about him as a master?"

"I've been with him since I was a baby, he's like my best friend as well as Master." Pen said simply he didn't do it because he didn't like Drake just the opposite really. "I'd be terrible if I just went with everything, wouldn't I? I knew he was going to be herald of pride the moment we met, I was a sickly charmander and so my mother dropped me at his door, knowing it would be best for me. She was right, I am a very spoiled and well loved dragon, and I love him for it."

"Oh you'd never guess that you had that kind of history and relationship from how you act around the others. Are you different with him when it's just the two of you?"

Pen nodded, "he likes that I give him shit, even if he pretends otherwise. It is part of our banter, I shit on him and flirt with his sister." He laughed, because he often got punched for that but it just went that way. "In private we braid each others hair and drink hot cocoa while discussing girls we really like," he joked.

Kayhl made a sound like she didn't believe him for a minute. "So how do you feel about Hikari?"

"She's family." Pen said, because it was true. She had helped Drake care for him. "I just like to make Drake uncomfortable. She's the easiest target. But she's like a sister. I'd die protecting her and Drake."

"Let's hope it doesn't come to that," Kayhl said. "How do you feel about the others? Do you have any favorites out of his friends? Any you don't particularly care for?"

"I like Mireya, because she's kind to everyone and his lady. I don't dislike any of them, Krei worries me. Eden needs to stay away from Hikari though." Pen said, not that it was a surprise. He'd watched the past unfold and he didn't want it to repeat itself in the present.

"Mireya is very easy to like," Kayhl agreed. "Eden cannot even be friends with Hikari though? And what worries you about Krei?"

"I'd rather he didn't. Until I see he's not who he used to be, I don't want to see her manipulated for his own gain," Pen said with a shrug, he didn't think he was unreasonable. Just wanted to be safe, rather than sorry. "Krei has killed people, he is part of a weird brotherhood and in general because he will be kind to animals doesn't mean he will be kind to Drake and Hikari. Besides, what's the point of them being friends with him, just for him to return to his brotherhood? More pain over losing people? No."

"And what of you? It's nice to care about your master and his sister but do you have things you want in life or those you want to connect with?" Kayhl asked.

"I want to help Drake, he helped me and I feel I should return the favour. I like everyone, except those I stated. But I should like to be closer to Jiro, I don't want him to be jealous." Pen said, because the cat was important too. "We had bonded some in the past and I like him a lot. Zeke seems interesting as well."

"So no other wishes for yourself then? No desire to see any particular part of the world or meet someone you find interesting or have little charmanders?"

"Having children in a world like this is Stupidity." Pen snorted, he didn't want to do that to his children. He just didn't. "as for the rest, I don't go looking for those things. If it happens, it happens. If it doesn't, it doesn't. I'm happy with my life as it is, so adding a person is of no importance right now. I love to travel though, I have no destination in mind. I get to go everywhere with Drake and Hikari."

"So back to your master then," Kayhl continued. "Do you support the idea of him using the dragons to change the world? And what would you like to see for his future. How would you help him?"

"Of course I support him and his vision, only an idiot wouldn't. Or a supremist." Pen snorted, but he was just very opinionated on some things. "He wants the world to be in harmony, fiends and human living side by side helping each other, being friends. Not one being a slave to the other. I will help him however he sees fit, but definitely by taking down organisations who are corrupt and using fiends as slaves, or property. Like that Honey girl was doing. I would have eaten her. But Drake says 'violence begets violence' and some other boring things."
