Master of Dragons Exploration

"I will do so happily," Ermes said. "And yes, I understand. I'll arrange for it once you bring me the food." He had to think about how to calm his Master down. Oh a nice picnic in the aviary might do it. Ryuu needed all of the outdoors that he could get and there would be no people best of all!

"You're too good to me, friend." Ryuu said, but he slipped away then. He would be as he said, an entire hour collecting food and stocking up for things in the bathroom. He'd stopped in a store called Lush, for that according to the women in town was the best place to get things that reminded people of the sea. He went with it.

He headed back home, a trickle of women behind him. Some where carrying his many, many bags. He felt bad, but he hadn't been able to carry them alone. He slipped open the door, "Ermes? Can I get some help please?"

"Yes, Master, of course," came the answer. Ermes answered promptly with her now female presence. She looked entirely innocent despite the faint scent of smoke about her. "Oh my..." she said as she looked at the trail of women behind him. And all those bags on top of it. "How may I be of assistance, Master?" She wasn't sure which he wanted her to take care of: women or bags?

The squeals from the girls who literally couldn't handle this pretty girl calling this gorgeous male Master, was immediately too much for Ryuu. He dropped the bag and covered his ears, while others fainted at his feet. "What did you do? I don't...are they bisexual?" He looked down and around. Confusion. He couldn't. "Why did they follow me?" He could understand the ones with the bags, the two or three of those. But the others? ALL THE MANY OTHERS?

Peels of laughter escaped Ermes then. "They're attracted to you! It's really very obvious, Master," she said, bent over then with laughter, her arm across her side to hold herself together.

"It's not funny!" Ryuu said and stepped over the fallen females. He didn't get it. He wasn't that good looking, he was just polite. A little old fashioned. He dragged his bags inside, took the ones from the girls who had fainted and the one who was just staring at him. "Thank you, milady. I have no more need of you. Do you require penance for your task?"

Heart eyes was the only response he got. HEART EYES. Swooning into his direction, but he sidestepped real fast. "ERMES. Stop your chortling and help me."

"Yes, Master!" Ermes replied, fighting hard to get her laughter under control. She ushered him inside while fending off the ladies. With the door closed safely behind him, Ermes thanked the ladies for their assistance. "It was too kind of you to help him with the bags and escort him back home. Both he and his beloved appreciate it." Yep, throwing it out there that he was not single even though he totally was. "Have a lovely rest of your day." And then she disappeared back into the house and locked the door. "My, your first outing and already you're popular with the young women of the village."

Ryuu shuddered so violently, it looked like a minor fit. Oh goodness. He wasn't for that. "The food is in these bags." He said and handed them to her quickly. He paused them. "Why...why are you a gir...your dress is very nice."

"Thank you," Ermes said with cheerful smile. "I'm afraid my adventure in the house while you were gone were just as eventful. A haunted suit of armor stole my necklace. We got into it, like you do, and he won because I'm rather less intimidating in this form. So I set him on fire. Which reminds me, we should really make this place fireproof."

"We shall add it to the list of the things we need to do." Ryuu said, not at all surprised that Ermes got into a fight with a haunted suit of armor. "Perhaps we should inquire about an exorcist as well?" He smirked, as he picked up the other bags. He had many things he needed to do before dinner was ready. "Make something you can slow cook, all right?"

"Certainly, Master," Ermes said. She took all the bags and brought them into the kitchen then. She unpacked them and left out the things she could use to slow cook a meal, on high, since she didn't have six or eight hours to let something cook. But four would do nicely. She got that set up quickly and then put everything he'd brought him away in its proper place. Having such a massive kitchen was making her very happy.

Ryuu took his bags of things upstairs. He found the blue room easily, it wasn't so difficult. Into the bathroom he went and he set up Ermes' things. He had bought her everything that had the sea scent with it from Lush. All the things. The shampoo bars, the bathbombs, bath salts. Everything.

He made her a bath, because she had taken care of him for so long. Today had been rough on her as well and he was forever falling apart. He couldn't do much for her, but this he could do. Give her a bath that smelled like home. It wasn't much, but he thought maybe the thought would count. "Ermes?" He called, once it was full and ready. Blue candles were every where and the bathroom smelled so delicious to even him.

A guy, who wasn't big on these sort of scents. But he liked it enough that he might have gotten in himself. He'd even put up sea shells, starfish shaped decorations and other parts of the seaside that would make her happy. At least, he hoped so.

Ermes had finished in the kitchen and was heading up to find him for his next order when she heard his call. "Coming, Master!" She went down the long halls and found herself in her bedroom? What was he doing in there. "Moaster?" she asked as she entered the room. He was not there. She sensed him in the bathroom and went in there. "What did you-oh!" she said in surprise at the scent and look of the place. "Oh my..." It was beautiful. She was very obviously touched by what he had done, setting up for her a bath, and the scent of the ocean...She could have almost cried if she was that sort of person.

"I can never do enough to thank you, but this is just a small part of my appreciation. The castle is another, I could tell you loved it." Ryuu said, because he didn't need this fancy, but he was happy to have it this fancy if it made her happy and her entire mood had perked greatly, he felt, just being here. "All of your toiletries are sea inspired. I hope they are of your liking." He said and pointed out all the things he'd set out for her.

"I don't even know what to say," Ermes said as she stared at everything he had gotten for her. It smelled like heaven to her. "Except for thank you of course," she added. Her eyes went from the bath, the candles, the products and the decorations slowly, taking it all in. "This is...Thank you, Master."

"You're welcome. Enjoy your down time." Ryuu said with a smile, for he had his own things to do. His own changes, he left her then. "How long until dinner?" He asked over his shoulder. He had to know how long he had for things.

"The slow cooker will run for four hours," Ermes said, her hand over the bath to play with the water. She smiled as she looked back at him. "You have plenty of time to relax until then." She was going to have her bath and take her time with it. And after that she was going to look through her clothes and pick something super pretty because she needed to.

"All right," Ryuu said and disappeared off. He was feeling a little awkward still with her. But not so much that he would let it affect their friendship. He could have, in reality. But he wasn't that sort of person. Not today anyway. Attraction could mean many things, so long as they left it there, at that on it's own, it wouldn't be a problem at all.

He took his time in his bathroom. He easily used sheers to cut his hair off at the shoulders, it wasn't that hard as he had no desire for layers, or anything fancy. He just wished for a large trim. Then he dyed it, he didn't want to be recognised now that they lived in a town, with actual people. He needed to be different looking.

Though, even with his dark black hair that flashed blue in certain lights, he still looked massively gorgeous. A stunning man, though he didn't think so. He felt old, ragged and tired. So he looked as such in the mirror whenever he looked. He had dried his hair and changed into a simple pair of pants, a comfortable pair and he had tidied up as best he could, the hair was easy. But the mess he'd made of his bathroom with the dye was a bit too much for him to figure out.

He didn't call out for help this time though, he would wait for Ermes to come and tell him she was finished relaxing before he did that.

By the time he had finished changing his look and cleaning himself up, Ermes had finished in the bath. Her skin did not prune up like a human's would have. She could spend eternity in the water and not feel uncomfortable. She would have done that if she could have.

Ermes had just laid there, surrounded by water and the smell of the ocean. She relaxed and then nearly cried a few times but then managed to center herself again. By the time her bath was over, she felt much better about everything. She had made her decisions. She knew what she would do. And it would all hinge on her next face to face talk with Jiro.

She couldn't think of just him though. She had to think of her Master first before herself. And so, smelling lovely and dressed in a black lace dress, as she always was, Ermes went into the kitchen to check on dinner. And then she went to find her master. He was still in his room. She wondered what he was up to in there. "Master?" she inquired as she went in. She'd never had a reason to stay away from him.

"Hm?" Ryuu said as he came out of his closet. He had just been nosing at all the different things in his room. He had wondered if there was secret tunnels or passages. He was just that sort of curious person. He had not found any though. "Oh you look, and smell, lovely." He smiled at her.

"Thank you," she said as he came out of the closet. "Is there..." She stopped. He looked shockingly different. Gone was his long hair. Gone was the white color. It was so much shorter and as dark as could be. And with that change he looked like a completely different man.

She could only stare at him. He looked so, so different. It was such a drastic change. And it was a very, very good change. Her hands with to her mouth and a small whimper escaped. She didn't have to look to know that her lovely, long blue hair was turning to pink very quickly.

Oh no.

Not again.

She turned on her heel and ran.

Ryuu literally facepalmed and his cheeks turned red. Not pink, he was too manly for that. "Ermes, wait!" He called out and chased after her. "It's fine. Don't worry about it. It...it happens I guess. It doesn't mean anything!" He said, trying to calm her down.

Ermes stopped but only because he'd pretty much ordered her to. She was entirely flustered and frazzled. "I'm so sorry," she said quickly. "Of course it means something! I don't know what it means but it means something!"

"It means that you find me nice to look at. But we don't need to make it be more than that, Ermes." Ryuu shook his head, he could tell she was upset over it, like she was betraying Jiro. "Don't over think it, over thinking it will make what we have weird. I don't want that. Please. It's okay."

"I don't want that either," Ermes replied. She took a breath to calm down. And then another. Then she nodded at him. "It's fine. I'm sorry. You have to warn me when you're going to make such drastic changes. Goodness."
