The Mysterious M! 13 Days Left

"What are the blue and pink blinky things? What do they do?" Wolf asked, curiously. He hadn't seen stuff like that before.

"He doesn't like me." Liron pointed out, then said he had been only joking.

Nel giggled, "Awww." She said because Liron was pouting. "Trent are you going to say hi to Cullen, or are you just going to be rude."

"Soul and heart," Braxton answered. He pressed somewhere on the doll and she opened her eyes and sat up.

"Hello," the doll said with a sweet smile.

"Happy birthday!" Yuui exclaimed, so excited. "Ooo, what's this?" he asked and picked up a touch pad.

"It's for customizing how she looks so she always blends in with the girls or setting," Braxton said. "They can add what they want to it." He demonstrated by changing her into a light blue dress with pale silver hair.

"I don't feel like talking to the fish," Trent answered and rolled over to expose his belly to the moonlight. "Or the other cat."

He was just being like that though. Stubborn and bratty.

"So..." Bryna said, deciding she couldn't handle any of this right now even if it was quite silly. "Shall we go find Braxton? He said he was making a present for us."

"the girls will love that." Wolf said honestly, because he knew what girls were like. They were just like that. "Welcome to the world, doll."

"Hello little toy," wall said curiously too, because he found things fascinating.

"Oh gifts? Well either Trent will come or he won't, but we all know he can't resist shiny things." Nel said, she knew there would be shiny things too. She took Cullen's hand. "I'm sorry for my crazy group of cats. Not sorry for Bryna, she's fine."

"I had thought as much," Braxton said. "I am not overly interested in such things," he added. "But I have made it so that they are able to add clothes, hair and makeup as they wish." He thought that they would have fun with that.

"What else can she do?" Yuui asked. "Other than blend in?"

"A great many things," Braxton said. "Most importantly, she cannot be deceived. She will be able tell and communicate a person' true intentions to the girls so that they will not be deceived by ill wishers either."

Lullaby sat there looking like quite the little lady. "Hello," she said again, looking at each of the men in the room curiously.

"I am fine," Bryna agreed. "So fine." Then she laughed.

Cullen smiled. "I don't mind the cats," he said. "Not as much as they mind me."

Trent only snorted. But he lazily got off the windowsill and left the room.

"Girls are into that stuff." Wolf pointed out, he could see why Braxton had done it. "Oh that's good too. You know? It will help Nel trust people."

"She is cute." wall said then, for no reason than he was enamored by the doll.

"Told you he couldn't resist the shiny. He's just mad he has to share me." Nel said quietly because that was a thing.

"correct, you are indeed." Liron said to Bryna without missing a beat.

"It will," Braxton said. "Which is important. Her songs will also keep the nightmares away," he added. "Which both girls seem to need." Though they likely weren't the only ones. They were just the ones that Braxton cared about at the moment.

Yuui looked surprised. "Are you taken with her?" he asked. That was rather adorable. Wall was such a big, large man. The doll was a tiny thing even if she was human sized.

Lullaby just smiled up at Wall.

Bryna face palmed. She should have known he would say that. "I walked into that," she said. She knew it too.

"Oh is that it?" Cullen asked. "I don't mind giving you space as needed." Because he'd have to. They didn't exactly live near each other.

Wolf cracked up, because wall so funny. But it was all sorts of adorable. "You are very sweet, Braxton. Secretly of course."

" She is so small and delicate. Like baby in big hands." wall said, so obviously he liked her.

"You did but it could have been worse." Liron chuckled. He held his arm out so he could escort her properly.

"He's going to have to get used to you eventually. So right now it's fine, I'll have to talk to him soon." Nel said, Trent knew that true love couldn't be denied. So she was curious about what he had to say.

"I don't agree with that but I will not argue it with you," Braxton said. He did not think of himself as being sweet. The girls needed someone with them all the time to care for them that wasn't a fiend that could be defeated and bleed. This seemed the easiest way that would appeal to them.

Yuui just thought that Wall was too adorable. He gave him a big squish. He couldn't help it. So cute that Wall was enamored with the pretty doll sitting there.

Bryna took Liron's arm and let him escort her.

"I'm sure he will," Cullen said. Because there was no other way.

But they made it to the room. Everyone else was already there. Plus someone they didn't yet know. Only Cullen knew of the doll as he'd provided some of the parts.

"Oh I know, you can't have people know you're sweet. Shh." Wolf said and then smiled because his girls were here.

"Who's this?" Nel asked of the cute girl sat on the table. She hadn't met her before.

"She is new," Liron said.

Both Wolf and wall stayed quiet. This was Braxton's thing.

Bryna also looked at the girl curiously. Like Cullen, this girl was not a member of Braxton's household.

"This is Lullaby, your knew body guard," Braxton said to the girls.

"Our what?" Bryna asked, surprised. But then the surprise wore off quickly. She looked at Wolf. It was like him your give them a body guard. This one didn't look especially tough though

"Whoa," Nel said holding her hand up, because of course she was against that. "I am not a child, I am 21. I do not need babysitting," she said shaking her head. She was not for it. "You insult me."

Wolf laughed, "no he treasures you and so he spoils you, calm your bad ass self down and listen to the guy will you?" He said shaking his head, she was so adamant all the time, she was a strong independent woman. Ha.

"Trent will you tell them how good in fencing I am? In my martial arts class?" Nel said, because she had seriously excelled in them both. She'd even beaten Trent. Once. Since her and Mandi had made it a challenge. Pfft.

"He's a cat, he don't give no fucks." Wolf said.

Trent narrowed his yellow eyes as he looked between the two of them. "You are both idiotic," he commented and jumped up on the table. He sniffed the new body guard and then clawed her arm. No effect.

"You insult me to think that I would give you something ordinary," Braxton said in return to Nel. "She is a doll. She cannot be killed. And while she can fight just as well as your wolf here, that is not her primary function. Among other things, she cannot be deceived and can communicate to you a person's true intentions. Her songs will also banish any nightmare."

"You're idiotic." Wolf said then, being as immature as Trent was with his insults. Just to be that way. Ha.

"Oh I knew she likely did more than fight, but I can kick Wolf's ass." Nel said, just to be that way. Though Wolf scoffed. "Do you want to try and find out?" She said then, because she felt like she likely could and considering she was martial arts and he was street fighter brawling type, she likely could.

"Can you just shut up and hear what she does? Because I mean, both you and Bryna are going to enjoy many of her functions and not just that she can kick ass," Wolf said then, because Braxton had been nice.

"Okay, okay. Sorry I just don't like to feel coddled. You know?" Nel said but then she looked over at the doll. She was surprised that Trent's scratch hadn't done anything to her. That was neat. "What else does she do, Brax?"

"She can keep up with you both in training. Guaranteed," Braxton said. "She is also able to heal minor wounds with both light and dark magic," he added. "You can customize her appearance to fit into your settings as well." He changed her hair, dress and make up again with the touch pad before tossing it to Bryna.

"Oh how neat," Bryna said. She looked through the customizations in the touch pad.

Nel leaned over and looked at the tablet. "So you've given us our own living dolly that we can dress and make pretty or kick some ass with?"

Wolf cracked up, of course Nel would put it that way.

Wall chuckled too.

"Awesome." nel said, with a grin. She was still a kid sometimes.

"That is one way to put it, yes," Braxton said.

"Well I don't have any complaints," Bryna said. She'd not had nice dolls when she was little. He'd broken the ones she'd had as punishment and threats. That this one couldn't break excited her. She played with the customization, giving the doll long white hair, bright red lips and a black dress.

Lullaby just sat there with a pleasant smile. "I'm terribly excited to be your friend," she said to the girls.

Wall bit his fist because lullaby was too cute and he couldn't take it. Not at all.

"We are going to have a lot of fun," Nel said and picked out really dark looking accessories and a coffin hand bag. "thanks Braxton." She said, hugging him and kissing his cheek.

Bryna gave Braxton a hug too. He was completely stoic about it. He hugged them back. "That's fine," he said. It was necessary in his opinion.

"Does she require anything? Food or otherwise?" Bryna asked.

"She can eat but she does not require it," Braxton said. "She needs only moonlight to charge her energy."

"You might need to make one for Wall," Yuui commented as he watched his partner watch Lullaby.

"That can be done," Braxton said.

"Does she like things?" Nel said, because she wanted her to have her own personality. That would be amazing.

"One that can shrink really small and sit on my shoulder." wall said then and nearly squealed with excitement.

"She has her own heart and soul so she will have her own personality," Braxton told Nel. "But you will have to learn what she likes and doesn't like." Just like with any other friend. He then looked at Wall. "That is an idea...customizable size. I will work on that."

"Looks like I'll be getting you more parts then," Cullen said, just as surprised and amused that Wall had become smitten with the doll.

"nice," Nel said and helped lullaby off the table. "Shall we all get coffee and talk?" She suggested and thought Trent could get to know Cullen while she got to know the doll.

"You spoil me. "Wall said so happily then. Like he was really very ready to have a moment.

Trent didn't know she had this in mind. He just went flat on the table in a dignified fashion while Cullen walked through one of the portal mirrors to his workshop to get what Braxton needed to make another doll for Wall.

"Yes, please," Lullaby said.

Bryna left with them. She was looking through the customization pad. There was room for notes in there so she could record what they learned about the doll.

"Well I can hardly deny you when you are so excited," Braxton said to wall.

"Okay," Nel said, disappointed that neither Cullen nor Trent had joined them. They just weren't that interested yet. Oh well.

"You could. " wall said knowing fully that Braxton was cold hearted when he wanted to be. Which meant he appreciated that a lot more.

"Here," Bryna said and handed Nel the touch pad so that she could look over the customizations and the like. "I think we just have to scan stuff to add it to the library." She was so excited. "We're going to have to take turns." That was the only way to make it fair.

"I could," Braxton said. "But you might decide to flatten me..." He was not really so much into physical violence. Not against him, at least. Though Wall wouldn't. Probably. But he could. And that did factor into it.

Still, he got to work on creating another doll, which was fascinating work if you could see and keep up with the magic that he was using.

"Oh yes, every other day." Nel agreed, otherwise they would fight. "So what do you like doing lullaby?"

"I would never." walk said, sounding absolutely insulted by the idea. As if he would even. "Yuui would never forgive me."
