Night Terrors And The Joy They Bring

"Wow that's awesome. Can you teach me?" Glitch asked because he liked origami. A lot. But he could never figure it out.

"Of course I can teach you!" Yuui said. "It's so much fun after all." He was excited that he had something definite that Glitch liked. "We'll do that first thing, yes?"

"sure thing. Anything you want," Glitch said but then he hugged Sirius, careful of the origami dragon. "text me in a bit yeah?" he said and kissed his cheek.

"Yeah," Sirius said, happy for the cheek. They only really got to be affectionate at school. At home, the dragons were too much in their space to allow any of that to happen. "Talk to you soon," he said and headed away from the two.

"You know, I'm surprised, you're with someone like him," Yuui commented once Sirius was out of sight. "Normal and Ghost. Such opposites. But they do say those attract."

Glitch laughed, "yeah he doesn't see the things I do. But when it's a child ghost, or a woman or a man who have been brutally murdered I wish I could have his ignorance."

"I can imagine," Yuui said. "He seems rather normal. But I'm going to assume that's deceiving as I can't actually imagine you with someone normal." He just couldn't. "Shall we?"

Glitch laughed again and then nodded. "yes let's." he said happily. He was excited.

"Then let's be on our way. I already have your things in the plane. I thought of just travelling by bird or air but decided that might be a bit too much for your first visit. Valeria isn't especially close so..." He shrugged and lead the way.

"I've never flown like that, we can do shorter trips though? Until I'm used to it." Glitch suggested he was fine with a plane. Seriously.

"We don't have to fly," Yuui said. "I imagine after your experience you might be afraid of heights. If you can't handle the plane we can go by water but that would take a while longer..." And he could make them get through it faster but only so much so.

"Nah, let's fly. I don't want to waste time with travel that I could be spending with you." Glitch said and went to head off then. But he paused. "I... Uh... I'm scared of heights, but it's okay."

"Is it?" Yuui asked. "Because, you know, travelling with me is still spending time with me," he pointed out cheerfully. "It's all right if you'd like to change how we get to Valeria. I don't mind."

"I like to face my fears rather than hide from them." Glitch said and smiled, he liked to push himself. Constantly.

"Well, that's not a bad attitude to have. In that case, we'll take the plane, but you won't see much," Yuui said. "I don't need you freaking out, hm? That wouldn't be enjoyable for you."

Glitch just chuckled. "we will see." he said, but he followed Yuui. He was so excited to go home. It was weird for him to feel like that, but he really did. He said as much.

"I'm excited to have you home. Though I am also conflicted. I never did want to return to that place..." Yuui said. "I didn't think you'd want to either. But it isn't the place it used to be either." He helped Glitch up into the plane and got it all started.

"Well I know you've changed it. So I know it's better now. Less angry." Glitch said with a smile, he had so much faith in Yuui. He followed him and just glitched at the idea of the plane.

"It took a while to do away with the fear of magic our people possessed," Yuui said. "But not so long as I had thought. They had, after all, fled to kingdoms that embraced magic. Part of my work was done for me. And the new generation did not remember how Valeria was before having never been there. That helped as well. Once the old ones died off I had a much easier time of it."

"I can only imagine. I wish I had been around to help." Glitch said, but then he looked at Yuui. "I was told you have many kids...so I'm an uncle, right?"

"Oh yes," Yuui said. "Some are blood. Some are adopted. Most have grown and had kids of their own and so on but...I have plenty, really. The kingdom is not lacking for people. Not anymore."

"I kind of thought that was the case. So none of them will call me uncle, huh?"  Glitch said, part of him had hoped that they would.

"I have told them who you are," Yuui said. "So they might choose to do so. Some of them, at least, may well. But you'll just have to see." Off they went. But he was very gentle with how he flew the plane.

Glitch started glitching again. Flickering in and out of the veil. It was not as bad as it could have been.

Yuui acted as if the glitching wasn't happening at all. "I will admit, Valeria isn't going to look as you recall. Well, not the buildings at least. There was a fire so everything had to be rebuilt. But it's very pretty," he said conversationally.

"is it a different style or?" Glitch said, he couldn't finish the sentence before he glitched again though it did slow down.
